i cant decide if this is really funny or really cruel...
i must admit it does make me laugh when i think of it altho i feel mean...
on sunday nite millie woke in the nite so i brought her to bed with us and she slept with us for a few hours.
i was woken up by her shuffling around and whimpering a bit- i opened my fone to check the time, it was 5.30am. half an hour until my alarm was due to go off. i really wanted that snooze so i thought i'll put her in her cot for the last 90 minutes before i usually wake her up.
i did the same right-hand-above-to-cradle-head, left-hand-below-to-cradle-bottom scoop manouvre that i'v done ever since she was born.
she was doing her toddler horizontal sleeping, and i was half asleep (well it was 5am)
i picked her up and then i realised- i was holding the poor little girl upside down!!!
ohmygosh its evil isnt it but i cant help laughing even as i type this
bless her, poor little thing- imagine being scooped up from bed at 5am and held upside down! of course as soon as i realised i turned her the right way up and cuddled her as i carried her to the nursery. and she was fine. she was only upside down for a few seconds!
oh i feel like such a terrible mother for laughing about it!
please share similar stories so i dont feel so bad...
