lock pc?

does anyone know if there is a way you can lock your laptop keyboard?

you know how you lock your phone... well is there a way you can do the same with pcs?

reason is, when im away from the laptop but leaving it on, my cat walks all over it and stands on the power button and turns it off, and random commands come up!!

you can lock your pc... start>log off I think it is, or ctrl+alt+del can do it too depending on the way your laptop is set up.

but thats if you have profiles set up (ie if you log into your computer, it doesnt just run without you logging in).

does that make sense..?

or you could hibernate..

My kitty keeps walking over my keyboard aswell, he tries to chase the pointer across the screen when i'm using it.....funny little thing has about 10 toy mice but think he has the wrong idea
