link between clomid & melasma??

Hello everyone, i was wondering if anybody could help...

I have just started taking my 4th round of clomid and last week i noticed a brown patch of skin above my eyebrow which is very slightly raised. I freaked out a bit and did some online research and think i may be melasma. I read that it usually occurs in pregnant women (thats not a possibility at the mo) but can be due to hormones. Do you think the clomid could have triggered it? im worried its going to take over my face. xxx

I can't recall reading this. Have a look on the info sheet u get with the pills. I would keep an eye on it and I would assume if it was hormone related it will dissapear wen u stop taking the clomid. I would stay out of the sun in the meantime and wear a high SPF wen ur out and about day to day. X. (Goes off to check own face.........)
