My lining was 7.5mm at my baseline scan last week, got another scan today but I suspect the cycle will be cancelled. I didn't think AF lasted very long. Has anyone continued an ivf cycle with too thick a lining? Its our last go so if I have a choice I think I'd prefer to wait until everything is as it should be.

My lining was only 7.4mm at transfer so I would have thought this is too thick for baseline. Hope you get better news today but I would agree that if its not right it's better to wait and try again. Good luck xx

I don't know enough to comment but really wanted to wish you luck as always xxx

I would wait too, when I was down regulating, I thought my period had stopped before the scan but there was still some there on the scan so had to continue down regulating for a bit longer to allow it to come away. They said its best to have the best environment to begin with xx

My friend had her IVF cycle cancelled because her lining was too thick, she waited a month did the cycle and got her positive test today! It's shit but better that you are right inside from word go? However they did this check before she started on any drugs, but she was a short protocol? I can't remember what my lining was at my baseline but it was obviously thin enough!

Why does your lining need to be so thin? Is it so the stimm drugs get it even thicker?

I think its an indication that you haven't had a proper bleed so aren't in the correct part of your cycle to start from scratch.
