Like a bear with a sore arse - Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

I have been suffering from the dreaded pregnancy joy that is piles. I have been using Germoloids for the last few days & it's doing nothing! Does anyone have any advice for medication I could use or anything else to the discomfort? I've got a delightful shift today starting at 11.30am until 9.00pm tonight & sitting on my sore arse for this length of time is going to be no fun at all. I've got tomorrow off & then I'm back in for a 6 hour stint on Friday. I work at a bank call centre so sit at a desk all day & the thought of this is filling me with dread!
Anyone got any hints & advice? All will be gratefully received.

sorry ive not got a clue not had them before i googled it and its random ideas (use wipes instead of toilet roll, Dnt sit on toilet to long, Light exercise) prob none will help. Pinky was at the docs 2day as she thinks she has them maybe shel have some advice for u later today... hope work not to bad for u

I'm using Anusol at the minute and it seems to relieve it for a little while but apaprantly your doc can prescribe some supositories (sp) which are magical! I think I need to book an appointment with the doc asap cos they're doin my head it. Giving me an extra waddle!

Well the pain was so bad, that I left work at 3pm & went via Boots. Got their own brand of suppositories which are safe to use in pregnancy & also have some cream. Booked for doctors tomorrow to see if there is anything else I can have that I don't have to pay for!!!!
I got piles when I was expecting Joseph, but right at the end of my pregnancy, so I'm praying that this is a one off. But without sounding rude having piles the size of bloody peanut M&M's is not amusing at all.
Wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy (well apart from dodgy fella at the garage in Warrington who sold us the crappy car & are having to take to court).
So at the moment I'm suffering 2 forms of pains in the arse!!! Lol!!!

Here's hoping no-one else gets them & that Lexusno1 you get yours sorted too hun. By the way have you heard from
Amandapanda? Hope she's ok & remember I'm not too far from her if she needs any help or support.

Hey I had thisat about 8 weeks preg- I found drinking fruit juice (I think it was blueberry, blackberry and cherry mixed.)Having a warm bath( just a few inches deep and sitting in it) .made sure I used those wet toilet tissue too . It helped very much, haven't had it since xx

Yeah, I got the last time too but only after labour due to all the pushing etc but got the shock of my life finding one after one day of constipation!!! I reckon I'll be doomed after labour this time!

I have heard from Amanda and she does have an update but I think she may want to update you all herself. I will say that the baby is fine tho and not too small after all. I also passed on ur love and offer and she was very touched. Will tell more in detail when I get the nod from her if she can't get on to update herself xxx

Well I've been to the doctors & been prescribed Proctosedyl for my delightful lumps! Was very embarrassed as I had to show them to my male doctor & he said he was not surprised I was in pain & that I was right with my diagnosis.(could've told him that all along!!!!)
I can only use the cream for 3-4 days at the most due to it's ingredients, but I am in sooooo much pain I am prepared to try it. I have also been advised to sit on a rubber ring to ease the pain (no way at work though as I don't want to advertise my sore arse to some of the sarcastic sods I work with! Lol)
