Hi ladies,
I have got the mother of all cold sores on my top lip, I've never had a cold sore in my life ever! I know that it normally means you're run down, but I can't understand how this is the case. I'm in iron tablets for being anaemic but have been taking these religiously along with folic acid and vitamin D.
One of the girls in work mentioned that pregnant ladies should be their doc if they have a cold sore. I couldn't understand why, so checked the NHS website. Sure enough, that's the advice.
Does anyone know why this is? Will the doc just recommend not to use any cold sore creams?
And do you have any idea what could be causing this monstrosity on my face?!
