Ligament pains or something else?

HI All,

I am 16w6d and for the last 3-4 days I have had a dull ache around my bikini line area. Sometimes its only noticable when pressed but other times I can feel it all the time. Def worse when walking around. Had W/w appoint on thursday and she said was ligament pain but most things I read say this should be sharp pain and last for only seconds not days.

Anyone else had this? Lins

Could be ligament pain, I've never had it there and this is my 4th pregnancy, I usually get it in my left side and it's like a pulse pain which lasts a little while and might get it today and not feel it again for weeks or might have it on and off 2 - 3 days running. You might have a water infection so might be worth to take a morning sample to your doctors and get it checked to be on safe side.

It's the round ligament which causes most of the ache and pains whilst pregnant, and I found it eased for me with a support band, this site may be helpful too;
