Leaking nipple before BFP?

First of all I *really* don't need to hear "oh go to the doctors" as I suffer health anxiety & am making an appointment this morning anyway.

From what I've read colostrum doesn't really start leaking until 2nd trimester.

I'm only around 10dpo and last night my nipple was leaking yellow/clear fluid. Has anyone experienced this so early on in pregnancy?

I have a two year old who was only BF for around a week & I had to stop.

Thanks in advance just want to know if it's normal. xxx

Is it leaking or when you squeeze? I stopped bf for a year and I was still getting stuff out when I squeezed.. could be hormones, maybe clothes or bra rubbing on you stimulating your nipples.. you've done the right thing making an appointment with your doctor it's worth asking them about

Just when I squeeze it. It's only one side, too.

Doctors appt is next week & AF is due same day. Safe to say, not looking forward to Tuesday.

I honestly think you're fine, I always get more from my left than my right after a few years of not bf! It's like it's just always there!

Hahaha! This makes me feel better! Ha I suppose I've never went out of my way to try get anything out... so perhaps it's been like this since I had LO.

Thanks Jayceesmumma I'm not as anxious about the whole thing as I thought I would be? Which is great for me, having health anxiety I would, in the past, have been a total zombie until doctors appt but I'm doing good! Good to hear it's 'kind of' normal if others are experiencing it too! xxx

Hopefully. Would hate to be sent back to the breast clinic I've been there twice already and I'm only 26. *shudder*

It is. Especially when you know at least 1 of the others waiting there with you will probably get bad news. Awful. But I've been reading stories of it being totally normal, too. So not AS anxious as I normally would be. thank you! xxx

Seen the nurse today, felt me up *eyeroll* and said it's lumpy but nothing too unusual, I have to go back next week (after my period) for another lump check, and have bloods taken on Thursday (possible hormone imbalance) and I'm going to the breast clinic at some point (will find out when next week) sooo! Nurse isn't too worried but due to my background (mum & aunty having breast cancer) she wants me checked. So just an update! Will be stopping TTC until all clear too xxx
