I forgot to mention, years ago when I had an ultra sound they discovered that I have a lazy ovary, do you think this may make it harder for me to conceive?

How did they discover that you had a lazy ovary? I mean, what did they see on the ultrasound that told them that?

I don't see why it should effect you at all :) And even if it did, it doesn't mean it is always lazy...

They don't really know what goes on with our ovaries. It is generally accepted that they take turns because we have two ovaries and only produce one egg, but the truth is that they don't know that for sure.

For all anyone knows, having one lazy ovary only means that the other ovary picks up the slack... or whatever they saw on the scan - maybe less follicles than expected? - just means that the ovary was having it's month off.

No one knows, so it's not worth worrying about :)

Yes I think it was that it had less follicles than the other one. But at the time I was not too concerned as I was only young and not thinking about babies at the time.
