Ok sorry if tmi but I took some laxatives yesterday as I hadnt been number 2 for about 3 or 4 days, I eventially went thanks to the laxatives. But today I havent been either, and I have ate alot to be honest and I really feel like need to go.

Are laxatives safe to use during pregnancy? I dont want to do anything harmful just in case I am pregnant.

I know you can take it if you wanna go in to labour at the end of your pregnancy(tho its not advised) am not sure about early stages...
Does it say anythin on the pack?

Sorry i wasn't much help

Doesnt say anything on the box, and the information sheet you get inside is missing, had them a while

What laxatives are they hun?

I would be interested to know too as I have to take them frequently due to IBS.

I think it is better to take a stool softener rather than a laxative- if you ask on the third tri board I am sure they will know a lot more though!

Im using dulcolax and it states the following:
Do not take this medicene if you are pregnant, planning to be pregnant or breast feeding.

Other ways that I know of are:
Plenty of fruit & veg
Jacket Potatoe
Brown Bread & Rice
Plenty of fluids
Weatabix every morning

Hope that helps.....

You could try Fibregel instead as you can take this whilest pregnant also.

I think I wll have a trip to the super market then, I'd rather solve it naturally rather than with medication, thanks .
