When i went to my antinatal class they said lavender oil was good, but i forgot what to do with it? all i remember is putting a few drops on my pillow.

Anyone help?

I have no idea but do know it stains pillows so perhaps if it is to aid sleep put it on a hankie or tissue instead of on the pillow directly.

I have a huge bottle of lavender oil...would love to know what it's good for...might actually mean it get's used!! :D

I have mine in a oil burner be fore i go to bed and having it on for a hour before i vgo to bed helps me sleep easier i think

Aromatherapy lavender oil is good for relaxation and sleep. Pure lavender oil is good for reducing swelling. My homeopathic-mad midwife had my privates stinking of the stuff in an effort to get the swelling down after Sam.....

in a herbal shop by me they sell spray bottles of lavender which they recommend for spraying on pillows and bedding etc, maybe u could look out for that if pure oil stains pillowS? x

Have not heard that one before.

I put a few drops in my bath which is really nice. I also put a few drops on a tissue and tuck it inside my pillow case... but it got a bit potent after a while so took it out.

You can mix it with a carrier oil (plain oil - like baby oil) and use it for massage. Don't get it on your skin if it is neat though.
