Laparoscopy and period??

Hi all,

I am booked in for my laparoscopy next month. I am due on few days before...does anyone know if this will affect the lap. I asked the woman today if its ok and she said yes but I am worried-will they be able to see the endometriosis properly and remove it effectively if I am on? This could be a really silly question but I am worried (I worry about everything that can be worried about ) x

There will be no problems hun. I had my lap and dye in April and actually came on a few hours prior to going to hospital for mine. They found no endometriosis for me but I did have to have additional surgery and all was ok. I was more worried about having to take all my clothes off and put a gown on whilst bleeding heavily (I suffer with real heavy periods) but I needn't have worried.

Great thanks for that. Was getting myself in a tizz about it all. I know I have endometriosis so I am fully prepared for that side of things but still getting nervous x

Hey hun, I found out yesterday I have endometrial too, would be good to talk to someone else who has it as I have no idea what to expect!
