Is it normal for a laparoscopy and hydrotubation to make your period late?

As the title says really .

I had laparoscopy and hydrotubation on 16th of this month, i was due my period on Friday gone .

Also, if you have had this proceedure, did you get an infected tummy button? Im near the end of my antibiotics and the infection is not cleared

First of all get more anti biotics for your belly button!! All the digging around in your body and the stress of an anesthetic has likely just delayed ovulation and therefore delayed your period. Don't worry.
