Was just reading a "breast feeding myths" page on facebook, and they had posted about this can sometimes cause "thrush" type symptoms due to a reaction to lanolin.

I never realised that, and i know a lot of ladies on here swear by it - but maybe its worth noting!! xxx

Indeed! My best friend is allergic to lanolin and she has to check for it in all sorts of soaps and creams etc. She had to use 'simple' baby products for her LO, not coz of the baby but coz her skin reacts badly to it! Shame for those who cant use it as Lansinoh saved my nipples! lol! xx

yeah, made me think a lot of ladies on here have had "thrush" - maybe it was that to blame. xxx

When I had thrush I swore it was because of the TT nipple pads. Maybe not!
