Have any of you noticed a weight loss at all?

I havent lost really much at all since immy wasborn. I thought being active and eating healthily and using the excercis machine woukd help.

Any ideas?

I'm nearly back down to size tbh

Sorry, I know that doesn't help you. I think it's due to breastfeeding cos I feel tightenings afterwards.

Hun im still not back to normal and its been over a
year then again i put on 6 stone  ive lost nearly
5 of it, it just takes time hun, its frustrating isnt it but
be patient and it will happen slowly but surley

I agree. It does come off very slowly and you probably will hardly notice it straight away but that's the best way to lose it! Slowly! :D

i am still 7lb over what i was before but to be honest im not too worried about losing it straight away

i think its stupid when u see these celebs in mags who obsess over losing the weight in a few weeks

I'm still a whale, don't worry hun. (And I'm exclusively breastfeeding so no bloody excuse!)

My mother says she thinks I'm losing weight though (and she's usually very stingy with her compliments) but it's coming off that slowly I can hardly tell.

My stomach muscles are totally buggered - I've got this flabby stomach that just sort of hangs there with muscles that aren't working and skin that has nothing underneath it - you know like when really obese people have liposuction!

your not alone! I'm struggling to shift it, TBH i don;t do an awful lot of exercise but i amd constantly walking places and running about house (when i'm not sat on here that is  ) I was size 10-12 before hand and am a 14-16 now, it's my tummy mainly.

Flabby, stretch marks etc etc

don't beat yourself up though, i have given myself until Jack 6 months old to lose it all. I would love to lose it sooner but it took me 9 months to put it on so it's not an overnight miracle

Mines totally flabby too nd stomach muscles gone, and stretch mark city. Sometimes im ok eith it and other times i hate the way i look

i know, me too, i'm usually ok unless i spot myself in mirror  then i think :puke:

or if i'm sat with OH and some sexy skinny child free woman comes on tv.. i actually find myself being jealous of woman i don't even know on tv WTF :rotfl:

ahh well, i might be flabby but i give a good BJ so i'm alright with the flab for now, sure si will stick around :rotfl:

I put on 4 and a half stone in pregnancy and the birth only took 1 stone of that off so I'm still 3 and a half stone over what I was pre pregnancy :( I feel awful and am still wearing maternity clothes which really depresses me :(

I put on about half a stone which I have nearly lost now but I was very overweight anyway. Im going to slimming world and taking Jake for really long walks a few times a week. Its coming off very slowly but its hard, especially living with a human eating machine who only likes junk food (and never puts anything on :wall: )

I'm back down to my old size but I'm totally flabby and the stretchmarks are TERRIBLE.

i think i was still in 3rd tri for a short while with u...

i was about 7-&-a-half st pre-preg, and the day b4 i had melissa i was 11-&-a-half

at first it fell off i was 9-&-a-half just 2 weeks after, but since then its really slowed down im still 9st which is a lot heavier than i started at! most of the extra weight is on my tummy and boobs it seems. i cant fit in any of my clothes either i live in pyjamas lol.

im not trying hard enough tho i still eat rubbish

aww its not just me then!

The stretch marks i can cope with, at least you can hide them under your clothes, but i cannot hide what a fat cow i am, everytim i look in the mirror its :puke: :puke: :puke:

Why cant i be one of the skinny bitches that have babies and lose their weight easily :wall: :wall: :wall:

Im just going to spend more time on my thigh trainer

Me too!
I've started counting calories and trying not to eat so many cakes. I'm not actually dieting, just trying to be a bit more sensible and eat healthier and see what weight I'm losing each week. I started monitoring it last week and lost 3lbs - it'd be great if every week was like that! But this week I've been away from home so eating a lot more biscuits and pizza so I'm not expecting the same result!

I'm gutted that I threw away all my 'fat clothes' when I lost a bunch of weight a year and a half ago - now I only have a box full of size 10-12 clothes that there's no chance of me fitting into!

I don't really pay attention to weight but I know that I've still got a big belly and because I had a section, I've got the belly that hangs over the scar thing going on. Once I'm 6 weeks I'm going to start exercising because I was a size 6 before and now I'm about a 12 (not that I'm aimin to be a 6 again but a bit smaller would be nice). I'm breastfeeding too so hopefully that helps me to lose some. Talking about stretchmarks - I had none all through pregnancy and just in the last week loads have appeared at the bottom of my tummy - is that normal?

i was told by my midwife that it takes 9 months to put it on so you should give yourself 9 months to loose it.
