Anyone else losing weight?

I havent put any weight on at all since 28 weeks, my friends who havent seen me for about a month have all commented on my weight loss,

Seeing as baby weighed 8lb 11 2 weeks ago and i have extra fluid, i must have lost quite a bit, i was a size 18-20 before pregnancy so not complaining!

I am not worried about babys weight as she is gaining too fast due to the diabetes

I am presuming its because of the no sugar diet and insulin combination i am taking

Anyone else?
 
my friends said last week i look like i had lost weight, but i am still gaining steadily, my shape has changed in the last couple of weeks so it just looks like i have. ive gained 2 and a half stone so far :oops: , im putting it down to fluid as i havent gorged myself to gain this amount!! honest!! xx
 
I was a size 18 before i got pregnant too and at my booking appt with the doc i weighed(sp) 16 1/2 stone, that was at around 8/9 weeks.

Then at around 22 weeks I weighed myself at a mates house (cheeky cow aren't I?!) and I weighed 15 1/2 stone,
Then at my new patient check up I still weighed 15 1/2 stone (i was 34 weeks by now).

So I've been the same weight since around 22 weeks and I'm due tomorrow!!!! :dance: :cheer: :dance: :cheer:

I've noticed that this time round I have a 'proper bump' too!


I'd say I've lost weight - YES! It does help when all you crave is crunchy veg and fruit all day long!
 
I'm exactly the same weight now at 29 weeks as I was at my booking in appointment at 8 weeks. I think it's because i've been more concious of heathly eating whilst i'm pregnant, so babies getting over doses of healthy fruit & veg!

So hopefully this will continue for the remaining 11 weeks & i'll have lost weight when baby has been born! That would be nice. I've never stuck to a diet in my life!! :dance:
 
I dont know how much I weigh now but I lost 2 stone after booking weight due to morning sickness and starvation associated with that terrible time, I dont think I will have put that back on but TBH I dont ever weigh myself just go with clothe sizes and thats hard ATM!!
 
Cor! I haven't lost weight, but I've only put on one stone which I'm quite pleased about, I know I'm not depriving myself as I do snack if I want/need to, the best thing is all my cravings have been for milk, fruit and veg. I can't leave the salad alone!
 
I had pregnancy diabetes 5 years ago and I lost over a stone in weight just through having to eat healthy so I guess that is the same for you.
