Ladies - Help please!

Have had a bit of a mare with testing for my surge this month. I was pretty happy with thinking it came on CD19, but I had EWCM this afternoon so I tested and I think the line looks just as dark as when I thought I OV'd... thoughts PLEASE!

This shows my tests from CD14 - they trail off a bit after CD22

This is now... this does look lighter though on the pic - ARGH!

hmm, it looks like cd19 on the pic, the one from today looks like the line is lighter but if you say its darker in real life then thats very confussing hun! sorry i'm not much better help

They look more or less the same CD19 and today which is CD28...
I don't bloody know, my do a CBD digi and try and get it right, third time lucky!

Just did a digi - got it right and it's negative, phew!

Does everyone think it looks like I OV'd around CD19?

I think so Jenny. Glad to see your tests cause they're like mine. Not really as dark as the control line so you feel like you have to go for the darkest one! I only got lines from 18 or 19 onwards and they're fading now. Just about to do another lol.

Jen not to get u excited but I'm sure an opk can show up if ur preggers!? U could have had Ur surge earlier and these might be showing something more exciting!! Xx

I think CD19 is the only one that stands out and I had *typical* OV symptoms from about CD17 so I think this is right...

It's like a lab experiment trying to dissect and decipher them! Next month I'm thinking stock up on some of the digi tests of Amazon.

Have your cheapy OPKs gotten any darker than mine? I wasn't sure if I gave up the OPK battle too soon?! x

Yeah do a bit of online research, u never know! I think an opk can show up BFP but a hpt can't show ov - something like that! I got a late positive on an opk but I wasn't preggers but I believe it works in fact didn't shauna get positive opks before her BFP?? Xx

Yes that is right, if I wee on a OPK the line is immediate and very very dark and the control line isn't as dark....

I've seen girls get positive opks and been pg. Hope its the case for you too! Mine have got back to faint line now. Just thought I'd do it for my whole cycle and see what's what as is my first month using them.xxx

Ahh well...

I think I've got to the bottom of both our problems!

I don't know if you have seen but I'm having a bit of a nightmare with my digital OPKs this month and also last month.

I've done a bit of research today and found out that the sensitivity of the Clear Blue Digital OPKs is quite low at 40 miu, I think they my LH levels are not high enough to give me a smiley face but I think I have peaked as the lines show at CD14/15.

With you Hun I expect that the tests you have bought are pretty sensitive and that's the reason you have so many dark lines, do you know what miu they are, it should be on the wrapper?

Hi Hun,

That means that they are twice as sensitive as mine, it depends on the person but they may well be more sensitive than you need.

You'll never guess what!

I've just got my delivery of the same OPKs as you 20miu, I have peed on 3 and NO BLOODY LINE!!

Can't believe it as I have got more of a line on less sensitive Clear Blue Digital one!

So I don't really know what to think, I'm thinking the cheapies and the Diggis are both crap!!

Either that or I've already OV'd??

Can't wait to get this one sussed out....

Just out of interest what does one of you OPKs look like when just dipped in water?

Can i join in the opk rant

They are really confusing me, its my first month of using them.

I got the 20miu ones from ebay and the control line on them is fairly light AND they take AGES for a second line to come up, you can look at them after 10 minutes and see a tiny line but not much and then look at them in an hour and they have gone a bit darker but not dark enough for a positive

Although i'm not really expecting to ov till next week as i have longer cycles.

Why are OPK's so hard to read grrr.
