I am doing slimming world but just cant get fully into it so im having a slow weight loss if anything. I find with 3 children under 5 I havent the time to think and sort out meals for myself.

My ever so supportive husband has told me to give up the diet as I " munch " too much :( Now I have cut down loads but cant seem to get the diet right

I said to him well he has his faults, he drinks too much, but the thing is, he doesnt want to cut that down, he knows I want to cut the food down and lose the weight so why cant he just not make comments like that and be more supportive.

If I had the will power and guts I would speed diet and get underweight and see what the shit head has to say about that :x

Sorry for the spamming post lol  Dont know what happened there

bless, men just don't think. Mine drinks too much too and he's a toss pot atm

Can I suggest joining the PF Fat Fighters thread in this section, all the girls there are trying to lose weight and are doing really well from supporting each other :D

Aww hun your doing great...even just maintaining is better than gaining. Try not to think diet so much as healthier life style, better snacks if you have to have them, grill instead of fry etc, etc, etc......I don't know what it is with men but they don't understand women and their weight issues. They make flippant comments and don't realise they hurt or go around and around in our heads for months etc....you do what you wanna do for you, you'll get ther in your own good time I'm sure.

Thanks girls, Well i have just been to tescos and bought stuff to help me eat healthier. I have my little boys christening on Sunday so will end up eating snacks that day and a bit of his cake :shhh:

My auntie had 2 girls and she yoyo dieted for years. Her girls are 20 and 18 and she has after all these years got to a stable size 8! It does prove its possible even if it takes years to achieve.

Btw hiya Nicola. Not sure if you remember but I was the one who had the doppler off you just beofre you moved home  :) How is your little man? Cant believe he is 8 months already  Its mad how fast these babies grow

Hi, yes of course I remember I hope it came in handy....I know he's growing TOO fast, almost 9 months really, just 5 days short of 9 months, crazy....feel like only yesterday the positive came up on my test, the bump started showing, shopping for nursery bedding etc....now he's eating proper foods (got teeth!!), he's even started walking in the past week, just a step or two but completely unaided, he'll walk confidently if you hold his hand or give him a walker...he climbs the book cases and constantly terrorises my poor plants etc but I tell you he's just a complete joy in my life, he's just the best thing I have ever done!!

....eek now he's trying to press buttons on the laptop

How are you doing? xx

:rotfl: He sounds like a bundle of fun at the moment. I love the toddling baby stage.

Im good ta, I loved the doppler used it most days  and It only scared me the once lol

Little Joseph is nearly 3 months and is so good. He is adored by his 2 big sisters and loves the attention they give. He is on a tiny bit of baby rice a day as he is a big baby. He has also learnt how to move himself around the floor or how to escape the bouncer If i dont put the straps on

But now its the task of getting rid of this baby tum! These kids are worth the extra skin and weight but I need it gone now :)

This dieting lark isnt easy is it. Good luck in your diet xx

Come join us in the Fat Fighters Club (the thread is always one of the first few in this section).....I'm still trying to banish the baby belly and I had mine 6 months before you!! :-) Nevermind I'm getting there now....Joseph looks adorable, I remember how tiny my DS seemed at 3 months compaired with now 9 months I look back at his baby pics and they bring tears to my eyes (sooo soppy!) he's just grown TOO fast! xx
