Labour Third Stage - Managed or Natural

I had the injection and it was over within seconds. I was handed my baby, the cord needed to be cut before i could get a proper cuddle as it was too short. Was given the injection and she pulled it straight out. Will be doing it again next time without a doubt.

I wanted it natural, and I'd put in my birth plan no injection and even said i didn't want it at the time, we waited for the cord to stop pulsating but i was bleeding really heavily and the MW said she was worried I'd lose too much blood and obviously i didn't wanna risk leaving my baby.

I didn't notice the actual injection and she pressed on my tummy and out it came (along with a lot of blood). I then threw up twice extremely suddenly which i hated!! Oh and she was on my chest the whole time, i went to hand her to OH whilst they did it but they told me it was ok to keep her

Next time i'll have exactly the same thing in my birth plan, natural all the way, but i didnt really have a choice with DD.
