Knitting help!

I want to learn how to knit, I mean from scratch, I know nothing! For those who can knit, how would you advise that I learn? Is there a book or a magazine you can recommend? Should I look online? How do I learn??

Hi Cos, hope you are well. I used you tube videos to help me learn how to knit, started with casting on and went from there, i am now very close to finishing my princesses blanket x x

You tube has some great tutorials also hobbycraft have leaflets that showbu the basics such as casting on and off and knit and purl stitches x

I was taught to knit by my ex partners mum during a period of illness, and it was the best thing I ever did! I absolutely love it, and now nearly 10 years later I have a spinning wheel, and I dye and spin my own wool too. I would highly recommend going to a club or trying to find someone who lives locally to teach you. I live in south wales btw, and would be happy to teach anyone! x
