i had my little angel on at 1.45 wednesday morning. Got took in on sunday to get induced nothing much happened then my waters broke whilst watching eastenders :oooo: on partners phone on the monday night then got took down to labour at 2 in the afternoon on the monday and put on the drip started getting strong contractions round 5, was on gas and air and got diamorphine jag but it was rubbish never really done anything for the pain so i had an epidural which was great but it was agony getting it put in was crying like a baby infact it was the most painful part of the labour  then i was only pushing for 25mins and with the help of a episiotomy my beautiful baby girl was born . The cord was round her neck once so my partner didnt get to cut it but he was just glad she was out then she was a wee bit muscusy (sp) so the baby doctors came in and i started to freak out beacause she was crying but they were saying she pinked up good and was breathing good but they took her to the special care unit after i had a quick cuddle :cloud9:.

Turns out her blood sugars were low so the kept her in the unit till she had built them up and i got her all to myself on the thursday lunchtime and she has been great ever since we got home on friday just after lunchtime and she only cries when shes being stripped or bathed and she is really content the rest of the time i dont know what we did to deserve such a good girl xx

She's beautiful congratulations! xx

awww RAH ?

Thats near me, im booking into the southern - still got a long way to go!

yeah it was much easier to get to (half an hour on public transport) as my oh hasnt got his finger out and passed his test yet lol but the aftercare at the RAH was great i would probs go back there there if i had another

I hear the aftercare is good there, Im not so sure about the Southern lol - only cause I work there, I know the score but I hear that since the Queen Mother MWs went over to the MAT at the Southern you can really tell the difference, plus the labour suits have just been all done up so Im happy..

Means if my waters go in work I just need a wee wheel accross the road.

Oh and neither has my OH - "hes gonnae do it" so a keep hearingxxxx

Congratulations
Beautiful name for a beautiful little girl, well done you! :)
