just wondered Re:magazine article

I was reading an article today in the tea room in some magazine like womans own or something (the choice of reading material is not great!), it was about a girl who was 5 months pregnant before she realised, and she'd had regular periods the whole time.

I just wondered does anyone know how this works...surely if you're bleeding your womb can't have a thick enough lining to support the baby.

also do you think if she'd temp charted she would have seen temp drops at the time of her period or do you reckon her temp would've stayed high??

this isn't in relation to my crazy hopes to be pregnant by the way, just curious...

ive always wondered too , there was / is a girly on here who didnt know she was pregnant and had a nice suprise ! but i guess if ur not looking for preggy symptoms u might not notice em

as for the bleeding bit , who knows ! maybe theyve only ever had light periods and that may have been what they continued haveing , u recon they were regualar tho ? weird aint it . saying that , i think if my temps hadnt been low id be convinced this month i was even after af , few times ir eached for the test and gone no dont be silyl ur temp is like 36.2 lol

hello,

i found out i was preg when i was 6months! was bit of a shock!! I too was having normal periods and didnt have any sickness ect. i actually lost 2 stone whilst i was preg. I only found out when i went to the docs for a routine c/up and mentioned that i was putting on weight but only in a certain place(!!!) turned out i was 6 months preg! BIG shock but now iv got a beautiful baby girl and wouldnt change it for the world

i know 2 people who didnt find out they were pregnant until they were 5months gone. I know for sure that one of them had periods the whole time. I think its quite common?
