Hi all, I'm new here and after some advice...

Me and oh decided to ttc back in June, the day we decided I stopped taking the pill mid-cycle, I had withdrawl blead about two weeks later and no have now been waiting for af for around 8 weeks!! I've turned into a poas addict, i know it's just a waiting for af game and unlikely to get a bfp, but I can't help but keep testing - always bfn.

I'm desprate for af so I can start ttc properly... I have a clearblue digital monitor I can't wait to use - the day I see ovulation will be amazing reasurance that I'm normal.

I think i've been reading way too much on the internet about others who have been on the pill for a long time and it masking fertlity problems.

I don't even feel af is on it's way - I'm so impatient it's driving me mad!

Hi hun, there are girls on here in the same situation who will be able to help you a lot more than I can, didn't want to read and run, but I hope AF or a BFP comes very soon xx

Im in the same situation Bluebell, im still waiting for af to arrive. Im prob not full of advise and info but im just trying to stay positive.
Ive been getting alot of advise from these lovely ladies on the forum and im trying not to worry as it can be normal.
I know its fustrating and you just want to start actively ttc but just hang in there and af or a bfp will arrive soon x x

It's very very frustrating isn't it? I stopped taking my pill in January and am STILL waiting for an AF, 9 months later. It can take a good few months for a cycle to start up again, especially if you were on the pill for a long time.
I'm getting referred for specialist treatment for my case, but normally it doesn't take this long to get a cycle back. Hoping you get something soon xx

As mentioned, a couple of girls on here are in the same situation so your certainly not alone.

I haven't experienced anything like it, but all i can suggest is using OPKs and getting to your GP to rule things out at the very least.

lrb should be able to tell you all about her docs visits, maybe check out her previous threads from early August (i think it was then) or pm her.

There are a few topics that mention a herbal treatment called Agnus Castus which is supposed to reallly help to regulate cycles, but it can also damage baba so you have to be really careful to either take it only before ovulation/conception or ideally stop ttc for a while and take it constantly...

Thanks LouiseB, I ordered some of the Internet yesterday... Thought it gotta b worth a try, but today have got af :)))) does this mean I ovulated a couple of weeks ago or can you have af without ovulation? I so happy! Just set cbfm to day 1 ... and now have fingers crossed I'll ovulate.
