Just has 28 week appointment

All seems to be going really well which is great

The midwife did say my urine has sugar in it but i am scheduled for a GTT on Tuesday so they said all would be tested then and that it may just be down to having cereal for breakfast etc.

All of the symptoms i am experiencing (lights in eyes, tiredness, dehydration) are all due to a mixture of my IBS being irritated by the pregnancy and my low blood pressure.

My Uterus height was 27cm which she said was spot on and the baby sounds happy and healthy. So although i am not feeling 100% the main thing is the baby seems to be absolutely fine.



So just the GTT to go!! Then after my 32 wk appoitnment they see me every 2 weeks till the end.


So fingers crossed all seems to be goign well.

The midwife didn't check the position of the baby or anything does anyone know when this usually starts to be checked?

Not quite sure when the midwife started checking position of the baby, it might have been around 32 weeks?? Sorry not much help.

Sounds like all is going well

My LO has been head down since 28 weeks but my MW said things could still change so didn't read anything into the position of baby till 32/34 weeks. And even then she said that baby could probably change position. Some don't go head down till later on even, so don't fret too much.

My LO has remained head down since 28 weeks and is partly engaged but still likes to flip side to side lots atm.

Glad its all going well, my midwife had a feel around at 24 weeks but she was too small and checked her position at my 28 week appointment, she didnt seem to bothered by it though, seemed more of a thing just to see where she was

Glad your appoinment went well , sorry to hear you haven't been feeling 100% though.

I've got my GTT next week aswell, are you having to fast for yours or are you having the kinder lucozade test?

I'm having to fast for mine but its not too bad because its only from 10pm from the night before.

My appointments on Tuesday when is yours? Good luck for it

Mines w weeks today at my 28 week appointment. Luckily I only have to fast for 1 hour after drinking some lucozade so it's not a pain at all really. I'm quite glad because it's at 13.45 and if I'd had to fast for that long I'd have been really unhappy!
