just got a very faint positive HELP

I just got a very faint positive from a clear blue test, but after showing it to dh he says it might be the hormones still there from my loss. So now i dont know does anyone know how long the hormones should be there after a loss

hiya the hormone should be out you body now really.

i did a pg test 5 days after M/C and it was negative

i'd leave it a day or 2 and test again just in case.

i dont mean to be rude claire but have you had a proper period since? and did u have a d&c? scan and is everything clear from your loss?

i would say you could possibly have ovulated by now..try not to get ur hopes up.. i doubt there would be any hormone left after 18 days though..

yes i had a d&c on 1st august i only bled for a day after, we decided not to wait for my first period we wanted to ttc straight away, we started ttc on 9th august i had small brown discharge yesterday, and have had ?ov/af cramps for nearly a week. im trying not to get my hopes up, i just wish i had done a test b4 to make sure it was negative b4 i started, i just did a cb digital it it came up pregnant but i really dont know, my dh thinks we should wait a week and test again but a week is a long time, i cant remember with my other d&c's how long i got a positive for.

i m/c last month but did not have the d&c however nurse told me that the hormone would be in my body for up to 2 weeks if i tested after then and still got a postive to go back but it was negative after a week.

i still had a positive preg test, taken at the hosp. 2 weeks after a d+ c and probably for a few days after that.

its only been 19 days , ,i would imagine this is too soon for you to ovulate and then have a pos test , remember it takes at least 10 days after ovulation for a test to show pos good luck either way

I know but all rational thought goes out the window when you have baby goggles on Wishfull thinking

I will probabally wait a week and see what happens, if its still showing positive i will go to the drs and get blood tests to make sure the levels are going down.

come on now! Positive thinking. Try and wait say... 4 days as a compromise and re test again.

well im going on holiday with my mum and the kids on tuesday, we will be back on saturday so i will see how things go and maybe test again on sunday

well i know i said i would wait but not knowing is doing my head in so i did another test today, and its still positive the line seems a bit darker, dont know if this picture will work out, i am going on holiday today so i think i will do a test on sunday when i get back and see what the line says, i think i have cought libs posa
