Just been to the pub!

Every year all my friends have a huge get together at the pub around christmas time, so I set off all excited about seeing everyone. Got there, had my pint of coke, and watched everyone getting slowly merrier. I felt so awkward that I left after an hour! My excuse was that I was on antibiotics, but I now feel awful that I left my friends because I felt awkward. I hate being around drunk people when I'm not drinking, I felt like the boring one, and it was so frustrating not being able to share my secret just yet

I know what you mean about not liking being around drunk people when sober its awfull lol. Your friends will know the real reason soon. Don't feel bad x

Yeah don't feel bad hun, I'm sure your friends will understand! I had a friends 30th birthday meal in October and they all got so drunk. It was funny at first but soon got boring. Was good to get home lol.

I know how you feel, i had my works xmas lunch, and everyone was drinking apart from me... it did make me feel awkward and i left after the food! It felt good to wake up the next morning without a head ache though! But with the morning sickness i get, it could be mistaken for a hangover haha x

I've got a wedding next week in Scotland and we're spending the whole week up there then going into Edinburgh for Hogmanay with my boyfriends friends. I'm using the antiobiotics excuse I think but a whole week and a wedding, I'm dreading it tbh. I don't know them that well anyway and now I'll be sober lol and I'll be grumpy and tired as I'm usually is bed by 9.30pm nowadays. Am hoping the hotel we're staying at is close enough to the wedding venue so I can slope off x x
