June 2014 Mummy's to be!

Hi ladies,

My first ever post :-)

I'm Dani, 21 and from Sheffield....Got my BFP 3 weeks ago, went to the doctors who confirmed everything last night, EDD of 7th June :-D first ever pregnancy completely unplanned (but we're so pleased!). All day sickness and nausea have been happening for about 2 weeks, the tiredness kicked in last week and very slight occasional cramps from the start.

So here I go on what is going to be the most scary, painful and expensive journey of my life but I have no doubt it'll all be worth in the end!! Roll on June!!!

Welcome Daniowl and congratulations! I had my first little surprise at 21 she's now a lovely 16 year old! This is baby no 3 for me and I can't wait! Hope you have a happy healthy 9 months x

Thanks Sarah!! It was the biggest shock ever for the pair of us; still getting my head around it tbh! Told both sets of parents last night, all is well thankfully as that's a massive weight lifted off my shoulders! Oooh how exciting, how far are you with this one? X

Welcome daniowl and congratuls, not much in our edd! 2nd baby here, early scan tomorrow, im bricking it! Xx

Once your head is round it you will be excited, I was! Its nice being a young mum, although this time Im the old mum lol! Im about 5 weeks I think, so nausea is just starting to kick in!

I'm getting excited now, this smile isn't moving off my face!! The nausea is dreadful, I do have good and bad days... I thought from waking up that today was going to be a good day... How wrong I was! Grrr, I'm stuck at work and feel dreadful!

Hi all, I'm Lauren. I am appx 6 weeks atm so am too a June mummy-to-be!! Edd is 09/06/14 :-)

Hi honey, hope your feeling ok!
The nausea seems to come and go for me just now. I put on sea sick bands this morning and the relief was instant!

Had a few days of AWFUL nausea since Saturday but have felt quite good today. Praying that it stays like this as the nausea was really affecting my whole day. Unable to eat or drink properly so happy to eat today :-) may have to try those sickness bands x

I used them last time and although they don't make it go away totally when the nausea is really bad they take the edge off. I've not got to the worst stage yet (week 7-8 last time!) so they are working well just now, enough to function!

Congrats Dani and Lauren, there's quite a few of us June mummies now :)

I'm just waiting on the docs calling me back with my second blood test result to make sure my levels are doubling, fingers crossed. I've not been having too many symptoms yet, just getting tired early at night. Last time it was the 6 week mark where I felt so sick all day every day. Not complaining one bit as so delighted to be pregnant again xxx

Woo hoo dr just called and I'm now 947 so more than doubled since Monday :) 12 more days till my scan, can't wait xxx

Brilliant news cosmo!
Just had my super early booking in appointment! Mw said they are doing them early so people have better access medicine and care etc. Don't see her til 24 weeks now tho so they have cut back in other ways!

Hi ladies, I found out I was pregnant on Monday. I am only 4 weeks, due around the 23rd June :) I am finding it hard to believe at the moment! Trying to resist the urge to keep taking tests. Feeling waves of sickness through the day and gentle cramps, as well as being absolutely shattered so trying to trust my body and the symptoms I'm feeling. One annoying thing is that all my allergies seem to have flared up but I know you can't take antihistimines. Hopefully they'll go away soon as it gets colder? Anyway hope you are all having a nice day, good to 'meet' you all :) xxx

Welcome MrsT and congrats. Also fab news cosmo, thats exactly what u wanted to hear :) xx

Hi Mrs_T! I normally suffer with hay fever and dust allergies although not too badly, but since I got pregnant I find I just get random sneezing fits for no apparent reason!! Very odd.
Great news Cosmo on your levels :) So reassuring.
I'm really starting to struggle with nausea now, I was fine until week 6, then had a few occasions where I didn't feel like eating when I got really hungry, but as soon as I ate I was ok, then last week and this week even more so I've been very fussy about what I eat, feeling rough when I think about eating certain things and really struggling to eat more than a small plate of food. I was feeling quite smug until recently that I hadn't got any stomach woes, especially as I have a vomit phobia and can't function hardly if I feel sick! But now that's bitten me on the bum and I'm sat here feeling really rough after having managed a handful of sweet potato wedges for tea... Bleurgh!!!! X

1 week to go to my scan! Eeep!
Starting to feel really crappy now. So tired. Feel sick. Food just doesn't appeal to me :(
Anyone else started to notice their trousers are tight?
I'm having to wear my Elasticated waisted jeggings to work all the time now with baggy tops (I look a right tramp!) and even they are squeezing now?!? Can't wait for 4pm every day to get home and put my pjs on!
