Morning ladies!
MrsT I have allergies too but have steroid shots which my gp said that they can give through out pregnancy so ask your gp if its getting to much!
I am feeling shattered. Went to work yesterday and after lunch I was useless! Totally nackered, lower back ache and burning between my shoulder blades. I just wanted to kick a patient out of their bed so I could have a rest! Everyone kept telling me i looked rough. Was in bed last night by 8:30. Dreading having to do it all again today.
I feel like my stomach is full all the time, and get nauseous with all the hospital smells. Yesterday I got bloated in the afternoon but this morning its all gone down and I'm really thirsty but can't drink much in one go...it seems like there's no room!

What a list of a whinge! Sorry ladies, next week ill try be more positive! Xx

Hi ladies, can I join you please? I'm due on 11th June and currently in a mad mix of complete shock, extreme excitement and bundles of nerves.

We've been through 3 cycles of unsuccessful IVF and went away on holiday to come to terms with the fact it wasn't going to happen for us and I got pregnant naturally!! Didn't believe it to start with - lots of tests - especially as apart from sore boobs have had no symptoms, but I had an early scan yesterday (at 6 weeks) and we saw our baby's heartbeat which was out of this world amazing so it feels a lot more real now! Just praying the little flicker stays strong now.

Hope you are all ok and for those of you suffering with nausea are coping alright xx

Is anyone else showing yet?!! My EDD is 15th June I think but I have quite a bump coming, at first it was just bloated but then now it's still there in the morning! My close friends have noticed too! This is our first baby so didn't think it would be this quick, keep teasing my hubby that there are twins inside!! xx
 
It will just be bloated, baby is smaller than a pea just now and uterus below pubic bone till 10 weeks. Im due mid June too and have a bloated belly as well tho.

I was showing by 8 weeks with my first pregnancy. By 10weeks it was getting hard to hide!!

and they say you are bigger with your 2nd pregnancy. So dont know how I am going to hide it for 12 weeks! x
 
Jazzy, could we do a list of all us Mummys on the first post in this thread, and what date we think we are due, and whether 1st or 2nd bubba? xx
 
This is my first pregnancy and I am terrified of everything. I am only 6 weeks and want to shout it from the roof tops but I am terrified of something going wrong :-( I have my first doctors appointment on Monday. I am feeling very sick too but mainly at night. Is that normal? Thanks
 
Congrats Lyndsay and Jo. Your story is amazing Jo you must be over the moon.

I was feeling really tired and light headed last night and also very short tempered. Husband was doing my head in. Don't think he appreciates how tired I'm getting and I don't want to keep going on about being pregnant as it feels a bit pathetic xxx

Morning ladies! How are we all?! After what I thought was a good couple of days, last night the sickness started and didn't stop for 6 long hours! The nausea is still here with a bang too, all with a really strong coffee taste in my mouth! Other than that, told more family last night who are delighted, it's all coming together :-) Still waiting on the midwife to get in touch, went to the doctor on Tuesday, she's still not been in touch, should I give her a call?

MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS JO!!

Thanks for the lovely welcome ladies, it feels so good to be able to vent my excitement somewhere! We have decided to keep the pregnancy a secret from friends and family for now which I am finding really difficult but really want to be able to give them the amazing news as a surprise once we get to 12 weeks.

Hope you are all doing ok. DaniOwl have you tried the travel sickness bands? Apparently they are really good for easing the sickness.

Jo1 I couldn't keep it secret! It's so hard, especially when I've felt so pants for the last week! I think everyone knows! X
