Is this bad luck??

I just bought a baby grow!! Sad, I know. But I couldnt resist!

I read somewhere on here someone saying they told their OH that they were pregnant by showing him the stick with their BFP and giving him a "I love my daddy" baby grow. And my heart melted!
I want to do this exact thing!!!! And although Im not pregnant just yet (fingers crossed for Sept!!!) I want to be prepared for telling him when I am. So just now, I've purchased a 0-3 months "I love my daddy" baby grow.

I'm actually feeling a bit depressed today, and was hoping that buying that would cheer me up, and its just made me feel worse!
My hormones are all over the place, and I've all of a sudden got loads of spots on my shoulders, arms and forehead, and I've never had spots, not even as a teen!! I'm due to OV soon so thats prob the reason, but Im just fed up already of trying, I just want to be pregnant already!!

Ugh, sorry for this massively depressing post lol. Was meant to just tell you all about the baby grow, and have now gone and depresed everyone lol.

Sorry will try and cheer up a bit before posting again!

hey hun i know lots of ladies do the same ttc is very frustrating and full of highs and lows. there is no harm in buying a few bits if it makes you feel a little better xxxx

Been trying for 3 months, take a test next month, that'll be my third so FX for that!

I know in the grand scheme of things that 3 months isnt very long, but it just feels like forever!!

aw hun the longer is is the more frustrating it gets, believe me all in all its been 18 months with on mc. my bf turned around to me earlier and said your defo pregnant we did it this month .. i was like shut up!!! argh dont wanna get my hopes up xx

Funny that, my DH said the same to me 2 nights ago! He was like "I have a really good feeling about this month, I think we've done it" and I'm like "Shhh dont jinx it!" but FX FX FX FX for us hun!!

Dont be depressed sweetie just enjoy your freedom while you have it, and your sleep! I was feeling depressed earlier as I am on cd40 now and no period after withdrawal bleed...but trying to keep smiling xxxx

Jayjay I feel the same way about things, I've been looking at baby clothes, nursery furniture, travel systems, the lot. I wrote this in another forum (not a pregnancy forum, but a pregnancy thread!):


I'm going to ask a question that's going to sound very impatient and totally mad, but has anyone who is ttc no1 bought anything nursery wise prior to getting pregnant? We obviously got money as wedding gifts from quite a few people, and I'm gutted to say it's just getting frittered away despite my efforts to keep it in savings for our future (which in my mind is baby stuff!!).
Tesco is currently doing 25% off all baby and toddler on their website, and the cot that I love which matches the furniture in the spare room (therefore saving more money buying a new chest of drawers or wardrobe for a nursery). I think dh would have a fit if he thought i was buying stuff just now, but he would also know that it makes complete sense to save a quarter off furniture and major items.
It would be getting stored away, obviously, not getting set up or anything, but I still just worry that it's a total jinx and way too quick off the mark considering most people don't buy these things til their pregnancies are a-okd.



So you're not the only one who might be buying things while ttc!

Hmm. I think buying nursery furniture is a bit quick off the mark, and bare in mind that there will be other sales, and u can go nuts in them lol.
Although speak to your DH and see how he feels, if he agrees with u then u can have a shopping spree.
I must admit I've been looking at prams and cots etc but will have to ease off until I am actually pregnant.

I don't see the harm in a baby grow or 2 though!

Hope yours is right - DH did this to me last cycle and was so disappointed when the witch turned up despite me telling him i thought she was on her way.

Bloody boys have no idea the emtional rollercoaster we go on from "a simple little comment"!!!

Well i just bought a pram and a baby bouncer chair thing off ebay because it was so cheap and so close to me i just had to!!! Think i spent £12 for them both together from the same lady- i was well chuffed its in good condition. If for any reason i dont get pregnant i will just sell it on on ebay so i cant see ive done anything wrong. Just saw a bargain and took it!!!!
