my mum had 5 children in a 3bedroom house and she held down 3 cleaning jobs a day 5days a week and my dad worked 12hr shifts

now i have left home and my brtoher works and pays his way its easier on her but she had it tough, kids sharing in a box room is horrible, but she made her bed she slept in it, she had 5 children she delt with it
no one else had to

same here D. i shared a BED with my elsder sister let alone a fooking bedroom!!!

why are they getting £280 a month jobseekers allowance when they are clearly not looking for employment if the jobcentre had any sense they would stop those payments. And look at the their new car in the drive too, it makes you sick. why do people have kids if they cantprovide for them. And the womans comment " i was born to have children" ! so what were we all born topay for you to raise these children

I know this makes everyone angry and honestly those who refuse to work and sponge benefits etc really make my blood boil when I know my DH works so blooming hard to provide us with the lifestyle we have type thing. Thing is most of it comes down to the stupid benefit system, they shouldn't be giving out houses to people who refuse to work, job seekers allowance is (in my opinion) a waste of money for most of the people claiming it (I'm sure there are some worthwhile jobseekers out there) but take my stepson, own flat, the government pay his rent, gas/electric, heating, water etc and he get's his £28 jobseekers every Friday and does what he likes, refuses to get a job incase he has to contribute to the rent and dosses all day - makes me so frigging mad they can get away with it. Starting them off like that aged 16/17 when he left home he's now going to start expecting it and hangs around with other idiots who are the same. If the government were not so blooming soft with giving out the flats, benefits and so forth we'd not have as many people scrounging as we do today. Other son's girlfriend's Dad is "on the sick" with a bad back and getting the same payments as my terminally ill mother gets....ironically he also works cash in hand on a building site and bought a new car last month!! These type of people make me soooooooooo mad but really who's to blame, the goverment really "allows" them to do it with their always softley softley approach to these things and the far too generous & easy to scam benefit system.

GRRR this REALLY p*sses me off - i like everyone else on here work my ARSE off, i went bk to work when leah was 4 months old cos i couldnt afford not too, yea leah goes to nursery so most my wages goes on that BUT i dont wanna be scroungin (sp) of the govenment.

Grrr really makes me mad, cos i could quite happily stop work n get more money

I am so glad that me and my OH struggling to pay our council tax month after month and the fact that if we are so much as 2 days late we get a court letter, is not in vain.

Ffs, we are on a low income and have to pay £130 a month council tax which we can't afford to house baby making machines like this,

I doubt they are paying any rent, but on top of this we have to pay £525 a month rent on one fairly low income. Which leaves us with not alot for food and bills, and this really p*sses me off, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

It makes me sick. Why do the hard working get punished nowadays?

Dont even get me started on this ........... oh to late i already am!

I work for the Council and i cant stand the way that benefits are worked out. My brother and his wife get housing benefit and they worked it out that my brother had to earn an extra £9k to have the same income as they do on benefits. How ridiculous is that - with no qualificats he is going to have to rely on the council to help out. If ther was some sort of grading of benfits this might be better and encourage more people to work!

Another thing that really gets to me is when i see people who live in Council properties they are often mid 50's in a couple or single liiving in a 4 bedroom house as they used to have a family. Now the family have left they aren't being made to move yet you still have other people with 5 children living in two bedroom flat!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think if you have a council property and you no longer need the space you should be rehomed, especially if the Council are paying for you to continue to live there!

As for the amount of benefits they get that really takes the p**s! Especially the job seakers allowance!

Im not saying that all people on benefits are scroungers as i don't think they are but in this case that is just ridiculous! I hope i haven't offended anyone but one thing i cant stand is people getting things for free when it is people like me who work my butt off to have to pay income tax and a lot of it pays for people like this!

in our local paper there was an artical on a local couple who are both disabled and live in a block of flats. They complained because they cant get up the stairs. The council refused to move them to a bungalo because it was only 1 bedroom!! the couple said they only need one bedroom but the council refused to move them. So theres a disabled couple struggleing to get into and outof there flat and a bungalo with no one in it

Its rediculas how they work it all out, it really is!
