Am I the only person in the world who pronounced it jane as in the girl's name?

The woman in Mothercare looked at me like I was mentally impaired today and then said...."ahhhhh you mean Yanay" !?!?!?!

I feel like a right numpty!

LOL. I used to think it was Jane as in the girls name too but it's actually pronounced with a "H" like Hanay.

It's because it's a foreign company (Spanish if I remember correctly)

It's like the word jalapeno... everyone thinks it is Jal a pe no and it's not, it's actually hal a pen ya.

Confusing though isn't it!
