How do you cook yours?

Im so rubbish at cooking and can never get them right.. GRR

In the oven on gas 5/6 ish for a good hour. No foil and no pricking :)

Shall give it ago, and let you know how i get on, thanks again.

i always prick and micro-wave for a few minutes then straight into the oven until firm and crispy! yum!

^^ same here

One way that is lush is to rub a bit of salt and olive oil into the skin and wrap in foil, bake for an hour or longer... but I rarely have time to do them that way :(

I tried the olive oil and rock salt and they didnt crisp up right for me :(

hhmmm, it was an old bf that did them this way... but I remember tham being crispy... wonder what he did to make them do that.... I wonder if they were only cooked for part in the foil...

Actually I think you might be right. I seem to remember the foil being the issue......might have another bash with some next time but minus the foil.

I also put the direct on the oven shelf - no baking tray.

8 minutes in the microwave then wrap them in foil with a bit of butter and some rock salt and bake for about an hour so the skin is crispy!

Sometime I do twice baked spuds with dinner- you whack them in the microwave, scoop the insides of the spuds out and mix with soured cream, grated cheese, chives and bacon then fill the skins back up again, sprinkle with a bit of cheese and bake for about 30 mins :)

depends how much time i've got, normally i just whackt hem in the oven. i did one for katie in the microwave yesterday and it was really nice and moist!

i love them where you scoop out the insides, mush up with cheese and back in! craving one now!!

Well didn't get a chance to do this yesterday so going to put one in now so she can have one at lunch

Would seriously kill for a baked potato now lol lots of butter and melted cheese.. I know what I'm having for dinner :D
