We've decided on Caleb for our LO, and we've told my family and friends, and OH has told his best friend and he's been sworn to secrecy. But for the rest of OH's friends, we've used Elias, or Eli) as a decoy! That way it doesn't sound too far-fetched! In fact, Elias was on my list, but OH crossed it off. But OHs friends are awful for mickey taking, and I wasn't prepared to let my LOs name be made fun of!

The sad thing is my best friend's boyfriend is one of OHs closest friends, and the main reason for the decoy. So it means I can't tell my friend the name either because she'd tell him! I think next time we just won't tell anyone!

Imagine her horrified face when a dear dear work colleague presented her with a carefully embroidered welcome sample for Esmerelda on her last day!!!

A friend of mine is actually called Bruce Wayne (he's 43 so I don't think his mum was thinking of Batman tho) and my dad is called Bruce! I don't think he's ever really forgiven my grandma for that...

My OH suggested the name Esmerelda for a girl the other day! And he was actually being serious!!!
I just gave him a disgusted look!

Phoebe is my most favourite name for a girl, always loved it. Trouble is I know my family will be expecting me to call a little girl that, so I'm unsure whether to use it now x

Haha that's great, my cousin told everyone her boy was going to be 'buttercup!'
She had now called him Korben, which I think is lovely!

hahaha this makes me laugh. My grandma is Constance and so is my Aunt. My Aunt has hated it her whole life and wishes she was a Jennifer? weird.
