I have just read on a site that pineapple juice can help implantation. I've never heard this before so if this month is not my month could be worth a try! Just thought I'd share and help you lovely ladies get your BFP! xxx good luck

ooh thats really interesting! Did it say why? what it actually does? It certainly cant hurt can it - I shall be on pineapple juice next month too!

Selenium is an antioxident and can help improve and promote a healthy womb lining, hence why some believe it to aid implantation......but you can get selenium from so many other foods even if you can't drink pineapple for whatever reason (allergic, can't stand the taste etc).
and some people are saying not the concentrate one and others any xx
sure cant hurt pineapple juice it is lol!

Ill join u on the one hun, i had some with breakfast this morning :)

Asda better order more, coz all ladies ttc are on there way!!! x x

I've been takin 75mg of aspirin per day for this cycle for the same effect - supposed to increase implantation and reduce chance of m/c :)

ooooh i have pineapple in the kitchen now..... maybe ill have a bit :-)

gonna have to pop out later and get my months supply of pineapple juice before the shops sell out!!
Seriously will be trying though- anything that helps and I love pineapple juice win win situation I hope!

Its strange how they tell you to eat pineapple to bring on labour, now they are saying this to help with implantation.
Wonder whether taking asprin with pineapple juice will help even more?
Might give it a go x x

Really, aspirin? I thought you had to avoid pain killers? I normally pop Nurofen Plus plus, throughout my period as really prone to migraine and bad period pain, but have been trying not to whilst we are ttc as I heard it could hurt the feotus or something, but I'm allowed aspirin? And it helps? I know that the effect of aspirin is that it thins the blood. Thats why it works as a pain killer, blood flows more easily bringing oxygen to hurt areas, but i cant see why that helps conception? Advice please xx

Advice please xx

You might wanna do some research.

Aspirin doesn't work like that... why would oxygen relieve pain? Pain is caused by a chemical being released into our system when cells are under stress and aspirin reduces the amount of this chemical being realeased and therefore reduces the pain sensation.

Don't forget we're not taking adult does throughout regnancy, just a baby dose for conception.

The only risk is increased bleeding during pregnancy, not deformities. The dose we're talking about is often prescribed throughout pregnant for women with clotting issues.

A study on IVF patients showed an increased of 17% chance of conceiving when on aspirin.

Always best to speak to your doctor though. My husband is in the industry and isn't worried so i'm alright :)
