I've just cut James' finger....

I've cut tip of his finger with bloody nail clippers!

It didn't seem to hurt him but it's still bleeding??

It's on of those cuts really close to nail. I cleaned it up and put Sudocrem on it but he's sucked the cream off and there is blood on his bib!

Looks like I've been beating him

No more nail clippers for Mummy!

I did this to owen by accident a few weeks ago he screamed!! I felt awful! It bled lits but was ok, just sudocream on it and was ok x

I did that last night he didn't flinch but it bled so let it dry and popped his hand mitt over it which is on the baby grow. It's red today too! Xx :/

I had to stop with the Sudocrem as James was lapping it up!

That kid eats anything - he loves Gripe Water, Infacol and he's had two treatments for oral thrush which he also happily sups up!

I did the same thing with my James 10 years ago. I have actually NEVER cut one of my kid's finger nails since. Either my Hubby or my MIL do it. I just freak out and can't bring myself to do it. LOL.

I'm currently looking at Baby Matthew's nails and thinking it's time to have them chopped but I don't know if I can do it.

Oh dear. Nat im a nail technician yet will not cut my girls nails. She goes to granny for that. I'm petrified of doing the same as you.

I've done this TWICE! I now have a phobia of cutting her nails! I prefer the scissors to be honest.

Aw, hun. I've done that twice before with the clippers. OH went mental when I did it the second time, as I promised I would stop trying to use them. It wouldn't stop bleeding but was the teeniest cut when it stopped. I was inconsolable!

I just nibble them off now while she's on the boob and that works for us xxx
