ive FINALLY lost... something!!!

woo hoo!!!!


ive just been to the loo and lost a huge big giant bogie thingy!!! is this a "show"? it didnt have any colour to it, just massively stringly n snot like,

i was telling hubby this morning that i felt kinda strange, like i was having period pains, but wasnt sure if it was just nerves cos im off to see the consultant 2mo to see if they will induce me or leave me another week, im 40+6today, (i allways get nerves in my belly)

oooh come on baby, i realllllllllly wana have you today or b4 seeing the consultant 2mo cos then i can have a water birth, (my hosp wont let u waterbirth if ur over 41wks or if ur induced)

oooh im gona jump on my ball now and see if i can get these BH's a little bit more regular!!!

any advice from anyone would be gratefully received, oh and will i loose anymore snotty stuf or is it just 1 glob and thats ur lot??!! lol

i thought i would be soooooo scared right now, but im not, i just hope that it is the real thing and things become regular,

going to pop to tesco in a little while, do the weekly shop which should take bout a hour n see if that helps, then at least if we do get snowed in anymore than we are, we have a supply of food in for me n *hopefully* baby

nope still at home

had loadsa period pains through the night, & then not sure if my waters went this morning or just loadsa watery discharge so decided to phoned labour ward this morning about 8.30am when hubby was still here and she basically said cos there not regular then not to bother going in cos there really busy,

going to see consultant today anyway at 3.10, so hoping if things are still happening then he may either say stay and pop ur ass in the pool, or do something at least,

im getting a bit worried though cos hubby cant get back from work today for consultant appt, taxis wont come down my street cos of the snow, so gona have to drive with my mum co-piloting, (mum cant drive)

but when i sit down the pains go, so i dont know if to carry on sitting on my ball, or just relax until im at the hosp, lol

Good luck with consultant later! And drive safe, go really slow and annoy everyone behind you My OH doesn't drive so I've been driving in this weather, I feel like I should have a sign on the back of my car saying 'Piss off, I'm pregnant and not risking my baby for you!' Lol.
I would try and stay upright/active till your app. tbh, least that way you feel like it's worth talking about to consultant, if the pains stop you might come home and then have to go out again.
How are the pains now?

they keep going on n off, especially because ive never suffered with period pains i was like oh my god lastnight and then had a word with myself and i know its gona geta lot worse than that, so i need to get a grip, my hip is really sore today tho which is something else i havnt suffered with until now, so dont know what that means, but i looked like a turtle stuck on its back this morning trying to get outa bed, not a good luck when i was dying for a wee,lol

but im bouncin away on my ball now, just phoned the hospital to check if the consultants actually managed to get in, he hasnt but midwifes are happy to see my and decide if i need a date for inducing or what depending on whats happening in there when i get to them....

eeek im so exicted, i just hope things dont stop (allthough the snow stoppin would be fab!!)

im charging my phone as we speak so hubby can update on here if anything does start and i go to hospital,

hi everyone,

what a flippin long day!!!! 4 hours in hospital waiting for a consultant to read a piece of paper is not my idea of fun!

got in to see midwife, she asked about movements, had to admit that id not had 10 movements today, so she sent me for a CGT scan (i think thats what she said i was called, one to check babies movements) and only had 3 while on there for 1 1/2.... then saw consultant, who said she would like to get me in 2mo to induce me, but there are no spaces, so offered me a sweep instead....

so im 2cm dialated now, so bouncin again on the bloody ball, lol & then back for the scan thing again 2mo lunchtime and then induce date of thursday if nothing happens on its own,
