with my George Forman....

I used to use it for EVERYTHING. I have the  one with the griddle on the side too so could do a whole fry up on it :D

Lately I have stopped using it and only use it for bacon now.

Anyone else fallen out of love with theirs?

 Yes, I really am this sad!

Hmm, I was never a great fan of ours... maybe because it was DF that used it and everything came out dry and tasteless lol...

Its been in the cupboard for a year now atleast!!

Never had one, but I do have a George Thornby album

I use an Ikea griddle pan, you can put it on the hob and under the grill, its excellent :)

I won a huge one a few years ago. I used it for everything except my breakfast cereal

Now it just sits on the top shelf and only sees the light of day if I'm making homemade burgers or steak. It's sooooooo much hassle to clean.

The grill on my oven doesn't work so use my George Formby for steaks etc but I hate cleaning it.

:rotfl: . I've always called it that! DH knows what I'm talking about when I ask him to get George Formby out the cupboard  .

I used mine for the first time in almost 3 years last week! I forgot I had it tbh.

I find it really annoying to clean, thats the main reason why I don't use it very much. I wish it had removable hot plates you could chuck in the sink or dishwasher.

Aww Im exactly the same!! I used it for everything everyday!
Now its just sat there! Not used it in about 12months!! I said to Joe the other day I want to start using it again but we havent so far!

We had an Anthony Worral Thompson one (I may be wrong) which we loved and used quite often, but it broke and we never got around to taking it back or buying another.

I'm a bit flaky with mine...I fall in and out of love with it on a whim. I HATE cleaning it but I love it for bacon, fish and pork......it's a bit shit for chicken though, too dry...

Its not so bad to clean if you use the proper george foreman sponge things for it, they are about a pound each but they last for ages. They have just the right size grooves in the sponge to fit between the ridges. I didnt know these existed til about 6 months ago, they do make it easier but still like the idea of chucking the plates in the sink better
