Any ideas where I can find a decent maternity coat? There seems to be a shortage of shops which do nice and affordable maternity clothes in my area. I tried a coat on in New Look and even in 2 sizes bigger than my normal size it was cut for possibly a 25 week bump, so would never get me through to new year. It's frustrating really. I'm skint-ish, so can't really afford paying more than 50 quid

i'm not bothering with a maternity coat. nearly all the ones i've seen have been way too expensive for something i'm not going to wear for long. i did, however, get last years h&m mac out of the wardrobe, and it still does up! it completely hides my bump though, boo!

None of my "normal" coats fit me anymore and at the moment I'm restricted to a long cardi which doesn't close properly at the front either anymore, and cardis are nice enough but not really windproof. And I'm not even that big, I don't think :(

I am having the same problem.. don't really want to spend too much money on maternity coat but can not button up the one I have now.. I think I will check out Primark tomorrow to see if they have anything cheap and cheerful to keep me warm for next three monts.

Yeh try Primark or somewhere similar and look for a swing coat! I need a new coat! I was thinking this today! I have never had a maternity coat and for the amount of time I have left Im not going to get one this time!
Maybe try Ebay even!?

I was going to go for a really chunky cardigan - maternity coats are just too expensive.

I'm generally quite a warm person anyway, especially now with bump, so I'm hopinh that will see me through.

Neil is not impressed by me stealing all his jumpers at the moment (and stretching them over my ample bump! :rotfl: )
