Isofix car seats that span wide age (2.5 - 12 years)

Hello

I am looking for an isofix seat for my 2.5 year old. It seems that most span 9 mo - 4 years (so won't get the use) and then 4+

Are there any that span 2.5 years+ AND are isofix???

Also, is there always a base for isofix or are there some seats that clip straight into the bracket on your car? This seat will be a 2nd for my mother in law who is elderly and so can't be fitting seats in and out of her car- needs to take it out with ease and regularly

Safety no 1 priority though

Don't go by age range hun, go by your childs weight and height x I put my son in the size one seats meant for 9 monthers at 7/8 months as he was a long baby and he was in it fine with the padding in. Hoping it lasts him a while but then again with another one on the way we may have to buy him another one maybe the bigger size up x
