Is this my period starting?!

I had my LO nearly 9 weeks ago (c section), and still haven't had a period..
I bled for about 6 weeks after c section, then had some discharge for a couple of weeks after.. For the past few days, I've had really dark brown (like the end of your period) jelly like discharge - enough that I have to wear a pad.. Haven't had any normal 'red' blood yet though, so wondering whether this is my period or not?

STILL haven't managed to dtd after having Ethan due to waiting for 6 week check up, bleeding, loads of horrible discharge and now I'm back to having really dark bloody (i think) discharge! It's now been 11 weeks since me & oh dtd - you can tell! It's starting to strain our relationship a little bit & OH is unbareable to live with!!

Fingers crossed it will all bugger off soon so I don't have to put up with the sex deprived OH!

How long did it take for your period to return?
& does this dark discharge sound normal??

I had what I thought was a period about a couple weeks ago just after i restarted the pill but for the past couple days ive had what looks like another period but im thinking its the type of pill im on as its the one that u take every day regardless due to breastfeeding gonna see hgow long it lasts and have 6 week check next week wen LO will actually be 8.5 weeks old

oh and i dtd about 4 weeks post birth and it was nerve wracking to say the least and i think it perhaps irritated the area of my episiotomy xx

I came on the forum to post exactly the same thing!?! And came across ur post! I wanted to know if this horrible mucasy brown discharge was normal!?! I didn't experience it at all after my first and was quite worried! My little girl will be 6 weeks tomorrow! I bled for just under 4 weeks and have had this for 2 days now! I'm glad I'm not alone but I wouldn't say mine was a period just yet! Maybe ovulation?!?

My LO is 11 weeks nearly 12 and i got my period this week. I did combi feed for seven weeks.

No brown though, just red and alot heavier than I am used to.

It did turn into red blood! My period after only 2 weeks! I bled after birth for 4 weeks! Wasn't expecting that!
