is this a milestone?

max started putting his hands in mouth a while ago but he has now held onto my hand and tried putting it in his mouth! he did this a few times so i bought a teether ring to see if he would hold it and put it in his mouth but so far he hasnt....

but im happy he tried putting my hand in his mouth, im guessing this is him becoming aware of his surroundings and himself?
