Im not very clued up on ovulation and best times to get pregnant etc

My bf works away, he was back for 3 days last week(6,7 and 8th) my first day of last period was 28th Sept.
Would i be in a good place to have concieved while he was home or should i stop thinking about it..

i have no idea. i am new to all this. i generally get my period exactly 4 weeks apart though if that helps

My knowledge is only from the ladies on here and from my obsessive searches online.
So you generally have a 28ish day cycle. Thats the same as me...you would usually ovulate mid cycle with a 28 day cycle. (approx 14 days before the date of your next period)
I did a quick search on an online ovulation calculator for you and these are the results;


Your next ovulation will most likely occur on Wednesday, Oct-12-2011. So the fact that you did the deed on the 8th does put you in with a chance. These online calculators are not completely accurate, its best to go by signs that your body gives, some slight ovulation cramping, increased fertile cervical mucus etc.
