to have an intrusive (I'm sure it will be as they want to look at my uterus!) gynae appointment in the tww? I'm quite sure I won't be pg but I suppose you never know. Hubby mentioned it and now I'm worried! xxx

I'd turn up and just mention it when you get there.

Just tell them that you are still ttc and you don't know if you have managed or not to conceive yet so is it safe?

Or, if you don't want to get all the way there - give them a call

If it is the abdominal ultrasound to look at the thickness, you'll be fine.

If they intend on sticking a camera into your cervix and looking at the surface of your uterus - then i don't think it will be.

I don't actually know what they will do, thanks to that awful GP who called me the other week. I assume they are going to look inside my uterus (I've already had scans though) at this thing that 'may or may not be something' and maybe take some swabs. Perhaps I should ring up tomorrow, just reeeeeeeeally didn't want to put it off any longer, and also now it'd have to wait till after fertility appt.

Also, this doctor is the same one as the fertility specialist I am seeing in a few weeks, so I don't know if those things can just be done at the fertility appointment! Its so confusing xxx
