Is it ok to eat kangaroo or ostrich?

Hey all, know this is a strange question, but OH and I are going to the Xmas market and they sell kangaroo and ostrich burgers, I'd like to try one but just wondering if its safe? Xxx

I would've thought so long as the meat is well cooked it'd be fine. Haven't seen anything that says those meats are on the lists to avoid. Enjoy and have fun! X

I heard Ostrich is nice but paints too much of a visual picture in my head to eat it. No way it's harmful to ya.

Def well cooked meat of any type is fine. Ostrich is yummy esp if u like a good steak...it's a lower fat my alternative to beef...

Thanks girls, I had a kangaroo burger was really tasty then had a crepe with chocolate spread, it's no wonder ive put on 2 and a half stone haha xxx

angelmma I work just round the corner from the xmas market in Castle Street! Love the market never tried the burgers tho! Had some noodles and churros the other day! YUM!
