My OH is a keen fisherman - oops , sorry - he's a keen ANGLER. Must get that right.
Well I find it the most boring hobby in the world, but I will sit by the river with him while he gets on with it.
Last night, another fisherman came past and started the usual chit chat of "Any good mate?" and "What bait are you using?"
Then this chap went on to say
" I use either garlic meat or pellets - BUT SOMETIMES A BIG SAUSAGE UNDER THE BUSH DOES THE TRICK!"
I laughed so much! I was in BIG trouble with OH as niether him or other man could see why I was laughing - fishing is very serious you know!!
Maybe its just me, but its still making me chuckle! Thank god for that coz there aint much else to laugh at at the mo!
