do the first few weeks drag? I'm 7w now and really want to tell people, especially my mum, but want to wait until first scan when I know things are ok. I know that's not going to be til June! It's almost like someone has slowed time down. Argh!

its going very slowly!! my friend got preggers and gave birth recently and those 9 months flew by but the past 3 weeks have dragged so much for me!!! xx

I found the first 12 weeks really dragged, think tri 1 was the most worrying time. But after 12 weeks its just flown in! I'm sure it will for you guys too

oh yes indeed, time is most definitely going at half the pace it normally does. I am hoping to get the 12 week scan booked for w/c 30May11 if they will let me so i can at least have a deadline when i can tell my family. Only mine and my OH's close work friends know, no other friends or family know at all. When i told my family last time it was on the same day my sister told me she was PG with No.2 and i had just found out....that didnt end well and it was horrible for my family but mostly my sister as she felt guilty all was well with her but no for me. Now all is going well for me(touch wood) and fingers crossed we can show them a 12wk scan photo with confidence all is good this time, i cant wait!!!!

i feel the same - this week has dragged big style for me...told the parents and my sister and brother in law and our only grandparent but i cant wait to have a bump after my scan and let everyone know, but it is so scary to think about in case something goes wrong and then everyone is upset. my friend told us all a couple of years ago when she first found out and everything was fine so i am so unsure whether just to give in!

I'm glad its not just me! I read my pregnancy book, up to week 7, to see whats going on right now. I seem to have been stuck there forever! My ticker says I'm only one day over! I think I've been rounding the days up too vigorously. I feel like it must be about week 9 by now. In the end I read all the way up to Week 15. Wish I hadnt now.....

I so want Tri1 to be over! Apparently its quite common for the nausea to keep going til week 14! Ack!

Time does really drag, especially in the first few weeks. I found the first 3 after finding out especially slow. However, the last 2 weeks have gone a lot quicker for me. Not flown by or anything, just not dragged as much as the first few.

the first 12 weeks drag so slowly but after that scan time seems to triple and before you know it ur on your hands and knees at 40 wks telling the doc if they dont get u pain relief quick u will kill them hehehe
