Just about to get some more cotton wool but I cant remember which one worked out better do you get more on a roll for less or less on a roll than you would if you were to buy buds? :D Thanks

Well buds wont really help with nappy changes hun!! ;) but I know what you mean and I cant really answer! ha I think I prefered the roll when I had the others as its easier to use the pieces off the roll!

:rotfl: BALLS I MEAN BALLS!

Haha dont think she will appreciate being poked with a cotton bud lol!

I don't use the balls. I find them too small tbh. Never used the rolls.

I get the cotton wool pleat packs.

I get a big roll of it from Boots, it's fabby. Lasts ages. The only slightly annoying thing is sometimes little strands come off. Becky poos so much now that cotton wool balls just won't cut the mustard.

So to speak. :rotfl: :rotfl:

i used the pleats aswell but started using wipes as soon as i could because it all gets stuck together and
ended up all on my carpet and i hate the feel of cotton wool--eek i cringe at the noise when it rubs together between your finger and thumb!

I use top and tail muslins from Mothercare - £6 for a pack of 50. We used to get through 1000 cotton balls a week

I used the large cotton wool pads in the end after trying all the others i found those easier :)

Whatever you decide on buying, always look out for the offers!! I bought loads from the pharmacy in town, went to Tescos the next day and they were doing 3 for 2 offers on loads of stuff that I'd already bought :wall:

I know we're in similar situations financially and so we can't afford to miss the deals!

Also, this link is pretty good, they deliver to your house too so it means you don't have to get dressed to go out

With my son I got the pleats and used to make up a bag of balls off the pleat :) am intrigued by these top n tail muslins though... we got some baby flannels so i might not bother with cotton wool this time n just use flannels hmmmmm *ponders*

I use the pleate cotton wool is last and gose so much further one pack lasts at least 2 weeks and only cost about 60p at sainsburys, cotton wool balls we use for cleaning Colliers face as we found the pleates wool stuck to his face.
We use flannels to dry his bottom and wash them to reused were saving a fortune in wipes :D :D

We use flannels for that also. We have all the same colour for him and drying his bottom so never get confused.

the rolls seem to malt and leave fluff all over my carpets so now I have a selection of wipes, cotton balls and pleat- the balls are more for cleaning her eyes and face etx and I only use wipes when I go out as they are more expensive!
