Is it braxton hicks or contractions

Got really painful tightenings in my tummy more above the belly button, coming in big ones every ten minutes, its a feels or horrible constipation and going into the middle of my back, what do u think it is ? Xx

Looks like braxton hicks as everything has stopped and got lots of wind xx

I honestly thought it was here, very painful tightenings but didnt have the show or bowel clearage, so thats why i wasnt sure, its starting to get me down now, how long have you got left xx

I've got two weeks on monday til due date but MW has been telling me she wont be long which J think has made me worse.
I've been having bad back ache, tightenings and loosing plug for nearly a week but it doesn't seem to be going any further than that.

When are you due?

I used to get them in the night at 38-39 weeks with my daughter and if I got up and walked about for a bit they would stop, but one night they didn't stop when I walked about and that's when I knew the real deal was starting (I was 40+1 then).

It's hard to tell, but generally you should be able to tell the difference between braxton hicks and contractions, of course you'd only be able to tell if you have experienced braxton hicks before. I think personally contractions are much more sharper and seem really intense. Time will tell
