Hey, hope your all well.

I try and be 'safe' with what I take in the 2ww. So know that most painkiller are a no. I fell down the stairs yesterday and in saving myself I've hurt my shoulder :(

Can I use deep heat type stuff? I have the deep freeze one and its fab but dont have the box or instructions.

:flower:

My tube says to cOnsult doc. Try calling local Pharmacy and also, ouch!

charlie when I got my back injury last year, the disposable heat pads that have the peel off sticky bit worked wonders, really eased my pain. You can stick them on top of your clothes (or underneath if you wish) so that way there's no contact with your skin and therefore safe!

Also, ouch :( That's how I got my back injury.

When I was pregnant and had a bad back my pharmacist said not to put anything on my skin (including patches) as some stuff in them can be absorbed into your body...although she said realistically it's not enough to harm your baby.
But to be on the safe side I wore an old vest top and stuck heat patches to it :)

Just wanted to say the month i got pregnant i slipped on some water on my kitchen floor and when i say i went down i mean i REALLY went down!! Thats the only thing i did different that month so i joke that i mustve fired little piglet so he/she snuggled really far in lol!!! x

 That's one painful way to get little bean to stick!

I've put some on. I'd rather that than take a handful of painkillers and the pain not ease.

Thank you ladies.

Paracetamol's really safe, its just ibuprofen and aspirin that are real no-nos
