"So - any signs that the baby will be coming soon?"

I've been asked this by folks ranging from close family to distant colleagues. What kind of a response are they expecting?? I'm half tempted to launch into a graphic description of how I'm gradually losing my mucous plug
I think they actually expect me to be able to predict precisely when the baby will decide to arrive - I wish!

Or are there some "secret signs" I don't know about and so can't report on whether they've happened or not??

yes i know the feeling! dad, aunties, n uncles!
live with my mum so every 5 minutes she says to me... "i wish you'd bloody hurry up and have some pain" :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yeah... people are starting to ask me now and i'm not even at my due date yet!

God, I hope I'm on my own when I go into labour and don't have an audience! My Mum would be a nightmare!

I take great pleasure in asking pregnant ppl if they have popped yet :D hahah

About mums being there, depends on ur relationship with ur mum i suppose, but i had my mum wit me from a few hours after my waters broke, as she was one of my birth partners... I cudnt have asked for a better birth partner, i did have some niggling doubts about my choice of my birth partners (mum and dad) in late pregnancy, but i can say now, i am SO glad i had my mum there she was fantastic and i would witout a doubt have her at my future births.

my mum will be there through every second :D :D she cant wait :cheer:
